Hello! Welcome to my personal website. Here you will be able to find information on myself and my research. Personal Information: I am a PhD student at the University of Manchester working in the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences (SEES) under the Manchester-Liverpool NERC Doctoral Training Program (DTP). My main research interests are in the use of UV spectroscopy for mitigating the risks of volcanic ash. I am just beginning my PhD and so will be updating this information as I progress. My undergraduate degree was an MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics at the University of York, where my masters research was investigating spectroscopy of laser induced plasmas, specifically looking at Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) in the visible and near UV, and in high energy laser experiments in X-ray. |
